BAMBOO FINAL DIGIPAK COVER 1copy
BAMBOO MANALAC‘s much-anticipated solo album “No Water, No Moon” is now available in all record stores nationwide under Polyeast Records.

From one spin of the most anticipated album in OPM rock this year, “No Water, No Moon”, Bamboo Manalac’s first solo release under PolyEast Records is obvious that for him there would be life beyond his career as a frontman.

Teamed with the top players in the music industry, he presents his musical visions that go beyond his craft and said “Nothing’s changed. It’s the same pressure that I’ve always put on myself. Whether in a band or going out on my own, or whatever I do. Just wanting to push, claw and climb.”

In one way, Manalac is getting back to his jazz roots, and in another way he’s heading toward to what he’s known for-mainstream pop genre.

Featuring the first single “Questions,” Bamboo Manalac said “I felt this was a good intro to the album because it has a lot of colors and instrumentation that we have in the album in just one song. The song is personal but I thought it spoke of the human experience.”

Tracklisting:
1. In Shadow
2. Please
3. Morning Rose
4. Back On My Feet

Tsang Mimay

Bamboo is such a sweet talker, and his viewpoints (re music) are always aligned. Kaya there’s always an aftereffect with every lyrics that he wrote… what he does is sort of WAGAS.

In conclusion, he who deals with the aftermaths makes fine Music. Like you know who (Bamboo).

Similar with his latest single – Question – that I think comes from the heart of a real rockstar. Kaya I <3 OPM! Kasi may Bamboo Manalac :)

No wonder my bestfriend gives you an uno!

I didn’t like Bamboo so much especially during those times that he was still with the band since his songs tend to sound similar. Listening to his solo, “Questions”, I feel that it has more dimension and musicality, and it also gave Bamboo the chance to broaden his perspective not only to rock but to jazz which I prefer (since its more laidback).

I hope all of the other songs in this album is as great as “Questions”. Bamboo really could move where the wind takes him to.

Duchess

HAHA! good to know to see their album, i hope he will hit an award for that. =))Congratulations and more powers

Aiza

Congratulations and more power on your new album, Bamboo! :) And I must agree, he really looks like Bruno Mars in those photos. :D

The first single is really heartfelt. Very Bamboo. :) That’s what I like about him actually, he sings with real emotions. And because it’s Bamboo, expect that the message is deep. I also loved the video. Very classy. Bagay lang sa bago niyang image. :)

Jenny Suratos

I love Bamboo.. His voice is something that soothes someone’s sanity.
(I am not bonkers..okay!) His music is something honest.. Cool and not pretentious.. I feel the emotions whenever I listen to any of his songs.
It is so nice Bamboo decided to release a Cd.. wanted to have one…

Ria Hazel

The first time I heard “Questions” was during his live guesting at Good Times with Mo. That time, the weather was very gloomy and I was feeling sad, then the lyrics below struck me:

Running in circles
In this once in a lifetime
I got this
One last chance
To ditch this borderline life
My place in this world
This last day I draw breath
I’m about to collide
With myself

The song was superb! Perfect for “senti” moments. I hope I can win his album so I would get to listen to all his songs too :)

Marco

I like the song “Questions”

theresa

in fairness, he looks like Bruno mar in the pics ah.. :)

    Sancho Bacagan Jr

@theresa, Bamboo Mars.. haha.. that’s what I thought also.. uso ata ang big hair sa lalake ngayon..

Adrian

The steel guitar adds a nice touch to the song.
