I first discovered BonChon Chicken when I joined an event for Robinsons Galleria last August 2011. At first, I didn’t find the look of the chicken appealing (I was actually making fun of its appearance the first time I saw it), it was actually good the 1st time I tried it. The crispy breading of their chicken skin and the meaty chicken is in fact, heavenly!

My second encounter with BonChon Chicken was when I was invited, this time, to a blogger event for BonChon Chicken in Ayala Triangle Garden. As thrilled as I may sound because I get to try it again, adding the fact that during that time, BonChon is already creating buzz because of their awesome chicken, I was disappointed with the event because I didn’t get to enjoy their food that time. But I was happy still because they introduced new products like the ChapChae and the Fish Taco which becomes an instant favorite of mine. I even paid to order some for take-out.

Although I find their chicken pricey, I still managed to squeeze in my budget to eat at BonChon Chicken every time I’m at Ayala Triangle Garden. I regularly order BonChon Chicken legs, ChapChae, Fish Taco (minus the dressing) and Iced Tea. Good thing, some of our events normally held its transport pick-up along that area.
And just recently, I got invited again, this time thru StratWorks Inc., for another BonChon Chicken Bloggers event at their new store in Bonifacio High Street, Taguig.
I should say that their event was far better than the last one I attended which was organized by another PR company. The food was overflowing, and we enjoyed it like it was our first time. It was actually like a feast – with the crews serving us whatever we like. Aside from introducing another product, the Ko-Yo (Korean Yogurt) which you can see a separate post here), BonChon Chicken’s owner Scott Tan also demonstrates to us the proper way of eating BonChon Chicken.

I never expected there’s a proper way of eating a chicken, I am still amazed with what he demonstrated. Check out the video below and see for yourself:
Here are some photos I took during the event:

I am also happy when I found out that BonChon Chicken has finally opened in Alabang Town Center where I’m near. I already treated my family at BonChon Chicken and we have the same favorites as well. I know I should be trying their other products, and I will do it next time. For now, I will enjoy again another bite or two of this BonChon Chicken I ordered for take-out.
See you soon at BonChon Chicken!
